Hamburg, March 9, 2023 – As a member of the erfa1 circle of the German Shopfitting Association (dLv) we recently had the opportunity to visit some remarkable stores in Hamburg and take a closer look at their concepts. The store checks took us through various sectors and offered interesting insights into current shopfitting trends and innovative technologies.
Our tour started at Mutterland, a charming delicatessen offering local specialties and high-quality delicacies. The rustic ambience and the loving presentation of the products immediately captivated us and left a lasting impression.
We continued on to Ladage & Oehlke, a traditional men’s outfitter that has stood for quality and style for over 100 years. Here we were able to marvel at the skilful combination of classic store design and modern elements, which make the store look contemporary and inviting.
Lynk & Co’s pop-up store at City Hall surprised us with its innovative yet minimalist concept. The selected car-related products were attractively presented and the temporary character of the store created a special atmosphere.
Another highlight of our tour was the Carhartt WIP store on Poststraße. Here, the American workwear label has created an impressive flagship store that impresses with a successful combination of industrial materials and modern design.
To conclude our store checks, we visited the well-frequented Bonprix Digital store on Mönckebergstraße. There, we were privy to the many technologies that allow customers to have a seamless and personalized shopping experience. Unfortunately, this exciting store will close its doors in summer 2023 – a loss for Hamburg’s shopping landscape.
In summary, the store check with dLv’s erfa1 circle offered exciting insights into a wide variety of store concepts and technologies. It showed us once again how important it is to constantly evolve and be open to new ideas and trends in order to succeed in the highly competitive retail sector.
